Service Agreement
Effective Date: January 1, 2025
1. Service Description
MYLE Home Services offers residential and commercial cleaning services including, but not limited to:
- Regular and one-time residential cleaning
- Turnover cleaning for real estate agents and property owners
- Deep cleaning and spring cleaning
- Staging prep and real estate preparation
- Customized services based on client needs
Specific services will be detailed in your booking or quote.
2. Pricing and Payment Terms
2.1 Pricing
Rates start at $125 for a one-bedroom apartment.
Pricing varies based on:
- Property size, complexity, and type of service requested
- A precise quote is provided before any intervention
Additional fees may apply for:
- Specialized or exceptional services
- Travel outside our standard service area
- Excessive dirt conditions requiring extra time
- Specialized equipment or products
2.2 Payment Terms
Payment is required at the end of service or according to agreed schedule.
Accepted payment methods:
- Interac e-transfer
- Cash
- Credit/debit cards
For corporate clients: Payment within 7 days of invoice receipt. Late payments over 7 days incur 2% monthly interest charges.
3. Cancellation and Modification Policy
3.1 Cancellation by Client
- Free cancellation: Up to 48 hours before scheduled service
- Cancellation with fee: Less than 48 hours notice = 50% of applicable rate
- No-show (absence during appointment): Full service charge
- Same-day cancellation: No refund
3.2 Cancellation by MYLE
In cases of force majeure or exceptional circumstances, MYLE may cancel a service. The client will be notified as quickly as possible, no fees will be charged, and the service will be rescheduled based on mutual availability.
3.3 Appointment Modifications
Modification requests must be made at least 24 hours in advance, subject to our availability. No fees for the first modification per month.
4. Satisfaction Guarantee
4.1 Our Quality Commitment
Satisfaction guarantee on all our services.
If you are not satisfied with the service provided:
- Contact us within 48 hours
- A free revision will be offered within 48 hours, within the scope of the chosen package
4.2 Guarantee Limitations
- Guarantee does not cover requests for additional services not initially planned
- Claims must be reported within 48 hours following service
- Guarantee does not apply to pre-existing damage
5. Liability and Insurance
5.1 Liability Insurance
MYLE Home Services holds comprehensive liability insurance covering any incident arising from our direct intervention. Copy of insurance certificate available upon request.
5.2 Liability Limitation
MYLE cannot be held responsible for:
- Damage caused to fragile, valuable, or pre-existing property
- Indirect, consequential damages or loss of profits
Client must report any fragile or valuable items before service. Our liability is limited to the amount paid for the concerned service.
5.3 Lost or Damaged Items
MYLE is not responsible for unsecured valuable items.
Any damage noted must be reported immediately. Claims must be accompanied by photographic evidence if possible.
6. Access and Security
6.1 Property Access
Client must ensure access to premises is available at the agreed time. In case of client absence, means of access (keys, codes) must be provided.
6.2 Protection of Sensitive Information
- All access codes and keys are protected according to strict security protocol
- Access limited to authorized employees
- No information disclosed to third parties
- Secure destruction of information after service cessation
6.3 Pets
Presence of animals must be reported during booking. Animals must be secured during service. MYLE reserves the right to postpone service if team safety is compromised.
7. Client Obligations
The client agrees to:
- Provide safe access to premises to be cleaned
- Report any potential danger or particular condition
- Put away valuable and fragile items
- Ensure premises are free of access (no major obstruction)
- Respect payment terms
- Treat our staff with respect and courtesy
8. Special Conditions
8.1 Specialized Services
Certain services require prior assessment. Additional fees may apply for exceptional conditions. Client will be informed of any additional cost before execution.
8.2 Equipment and Products
MYLE generally provides all necessary equipment and products. Use of eco-friendly products when possible. Client may request use of specific products (possible additional cost).
9. Confidentiality
- All collected information is used exclusively for service provision purposes
- No personal information shared without consent
- Strict respect for client privacy
- Confidentiality obligation of our staff
10. Termination
10.1 Termination by Client
Client may terminate recurring service contract with 48 hours notice. No termination fees for recurring services. One-time services follow standard cancellation policy.
10.2 Termination by MYLE
MYLE reserves the right to terminate the contract in case of:
- Repeated non-compliance with payment terms
- Disrespectful behavior towards our staff
- Uncorrected dangerous working conditions
- Violation of these terms
11. Modifications to Terms
MYLE reserves the right to modify these terms at any time. Clients will be informed of modifications by email or during next service. Continued use of our services after modification constitutes acceptance of new terms.
12. Jurisdiction and Applicable Law
These terms are governed by the laws of Quebec, Canada. Any dispute will be submitted to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of the district of Montreal.
13. General Provisions
13.1 Severability
If any provision of these terms is deemed invalid, the other provisions remain in force.
13.2 Force Majeure
MYLE is not responsible for delays or failures caused by circumstances beyond its control (extreme weather conditions, pandemic, etc.).
